Best of LiveWorkBalance - October 2007
As today is the end of the month, I’d like to highlight a few posts that stood out this month.
However, first I wanted to thank all of you for reading this month. It’s been a lot of fun getting LiveWorkBalance started, writing the articles, and just getting into the swing of things in general. I think this month has been a great learning experience, I’ve enjoyed the way things have started, and I look forward to a lot more of it in the future!

Finding Time - The Commute
…while many of us wish for just an extra hour of two a day, without some interesting physics, that won’t happen any time soon. So we’re left with trying to maximize the time we have, and find extra pockets of time where we can.

…in the challenge to increase productivity and do more with less, employers are beginning to recognize that overstressed employees with no sense of balance can burn out.
Simply put, GTD is a system for collecting all of the open loops in your life, breaking them down into doable chunks, and organizing them in such a way as to make the decision of what to do at any given time easy.
These are a few of the highlights from the past month. I hope that you’ve been able to gain something from what you’ve read, I know that writing it has been a great learning experience for me as well.
