Web Worker Daily posted an interesting article today regarding work-life balance for the web worker. One of the things that I found interesting is that they list a series of physical (or at least paper) boundaries you can set up to keep your work persona from crossing the line into your home persona. Most articles seem to focus on process changes (my own included), so that’s something new.

One of their tips:

Business name: While there’s some benefit in terms of personal branding to doing business under your own name, prospective clients may be happier signing a contract with an actual business - even if it only has one employee. Choosing a business name also gives you an opportunity to market your services in a way that using your own name does not.
