Quick and Dirty: Unproductivity and getting back some of your time

Today brings two links I had actually stumbled across yesterday, but just hadn’t had a chance to post.

The first is from Zen Habits, “Unproductivity: 8 Fantabulous Ways to Make the Most of Your Laziest Days”

Besides utilising everyone’s favourite word (fantabulous, in case you were wondering), it highlights a few great ways to make the most of a lazy day. Some of the tips cover ways to just enjoy the laziness, others are for ways to still try and salvage some productivity, but all are great.

The second article comes from lifehack.org. Along the lines of my Finding Time articles, “Five Hints to Reclaim Time for Yourself” has some great tips for where to find some time, but I think even more important is the final point: “When you do get time to yourself, use it!” Taking the time to recharge, not just to get more done, is something that I think many of us have trouble with, and that one statement is something for us to remember when those opportunities appear.
